I was introduced to photography when I was 10. My uncle showed me his Nikon SLR and tried to explain the 3 principles of photography- shutter speed, aperture, and ASA. Granted, I was 10, so I had no clue what he was talking about.

Photography really became my passion in high school. There, I experienced developing a roll of film and the darkroom - the smell of the chemicals and the magic of the silver gelatin emulsion turning a blank piece of paper into an image. I would somedays spend 5-6 hours in the darkroom.
